Role Overview

Calu Media Group is seeking a dedicated Growth & Marketing Intern for 20 hours per week. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in developing and executing marketing initiatives designed to expand newsletter readership, optimize acquisition channels, and drive audience engagement.

Work will be conducted either remotely or on-site in London, depending on operational requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media channels to enhance brand visibility and convert engagements into active newsletter subscribers.
  • Growth Strategy Development: Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of strategic growth initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in drafting promotional copy, optimizing landing pages, preparing lead generation assets, and coordinating distribution workflows.
  • Outreach & Lead Generation: Conduct market research, identify prospective business partners, compile targeting data, and support B2B sponsorship initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Core Interest: A strong interest in digital media, marketing frameworks, and audience development.
  • Willingness to Learn: A high level of adaptability, strong professional discipline, and a commitment to acquiring new marketing skills.
  • Communication Skills: Professional written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration and external partner communications.
  • Organization: Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks efficiently across independent and collaborative working environments.
  • Experience Level: Relevant industry experience is not required; candidates are evaluated based on aptitude, initiative, and willingness to learn.
