Growth Marketing Lead London – Hybrid Up to £110,000 + Equity
An ambitious, early-stage AI SaaS business is looking for a Growth Lead to become its founding growth hire and build the function from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage, shape the company's positioning and go-to-market strategy, and ultimately build a high-performing growth team around you.
The Role
You'll take ownership of growth from strategy through to execution, working closely with the founders and sales team to establish a scalable demand engine.
You'll be responsible for:
- Defining positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
- Building demand generation from the ground up across content, events, organic, founder-led, and paid channels
- Owning the funnel from first touch through to qualified opportunity
- Developing campaigns that resonate with a busy, non-technical B2B audience
- Working closely with customers and sales to continually refine messaging
- Testing, measuring, and optimising channels based on commercial performance
- Using AI, automation, and LLMs to improve marketing execution and efficiency
- Building and leading a small growth team as the business scales

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

- The ability to operate without an established playbook, large team, or huge budget
- Hands-on experience using AI/LLMs, automation tools, or AI-enabled workflows
- A test-and-learn mentality with a strong understanding of performance and attribution
- The ambition to build a function and team around you

This won't suit someone looking to simply manage agencies or optimise an established marketing engine. You'll be joining at the stage where the playbook still needs to be written.
