Growth Marketing Lead – AI & Automation
Marketing | B2B | AI & Automation | Growth
Whytematter Staffing Solutions is working on a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Growth Marketing Lead who wants the freedom to make an impact.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply pick up an existing marketing calendar and keep things ticking over. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of how the business approaches marketing, lead generation and customer engagement, introducing smarter processes and making AI and automation part of the everyday marketing toolkit.
We’re looking for someone commercially minded, comfortable getting hands-on and excited about finding better ways to generate opportunities and turn marketing activity into genuine business growth.
What will you be doing?
You’ll take ownership of the marketing and lead-generation activity, working closely with senior stakeholders to identify where the biggest opportunities lie.
Your remit will include:
- Creating and delivering B2B campaigns focused on generating quality commercial opportunities.
- Developing both inbound and outbound approaches to reach prospective customers.
- Using AI and automation to make marketing activity more targeted, efficient and scalable.
- Managing and improving CRM processes, including lead nurturing, qualification and reporting.
- Creating landing pages and digital journeys designed to convert.
- Developing targeted campaigns for specific customers, sectors and audiences.
- Producing engaging content that makes technical or complex subjects easy to understand.
- Creating case studies, insights and other sales and marketing collateral.
- Reviewing campaign and pipeline data to understand what is working and where improvements can be made.
- Exploring new AI tools and identifying practical ways they can support marketing and business development.
- Working closely with the wider business to ensure marketing activity is contributing to commercial goals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
