Growth Marketing Lead - Own How the World's Biggest AI Engineering Conference Grows | Remote (US or UK)
Read This Before Applying - It's Built to Filter, on Purpose.
Our client runs the biggest technical AI conference on the planet - the neutral stage where OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, NVIDIA, and Microsoft all show up. Attendance is up ~1,200% in 3 years, the last events sold out, and they're heading for 10,000+ at the World's Fair and 30,000 across the community by 2030. Profitable, bootstrapped, still small. This is the person who owns how all of that grows.
The One Thing You Need:
- You've grown a real audience on digital and owned channels - LinkedIn, YouTube, X, SEO, content - marketing to a developer or technical audience. You know what makes engineers pay attention, and what makes them cringe. That instinct is the thing we can't teach.
Everything else about our world, you'll pick up fast:
- The events domain and the speaker/sponsor side
- Our specific stack (the website runs through an AI agent - no dev skills needed, just judgment)
- The community and amplification playbook
Let's Be Honest About the Level:
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is a lead seat, but not a "Head of x3, 15 years, $200k" seat. It's for someone who's done the work and has a couple of years leading - enough to build a strategy a year out AND still run it yourself. Because for the first 6–12 months, it's mostly you (a creative and a community manager report in, and you build the team from there).
2 Hard Filters:
- If your background is event or experiential marketing, this isn't your role. Different job, different toolkit - this is digital growth.
- If you need big-company process and headcount to move, keep scrolling.
The Upside, and It's Real:
- The channels are wide open. 10M+ YouTube views barely repurposed. A LinkedIn that's asleep. SEO and automations sitting on the table. You decide what to double down on, what to kill, and where the growth actually is.
- You report straight to the founder - who's done this exact role (ex-VP marketing, developer-first) - so it's a sharp sounding board and a short path from idea to done. Plus you're in the room with every major name in AI.
To be clear: it's intense.
- Fast-moving startup, lean team, priorities that shift weekly, big personalities. You force the call instead of waiting a week for a thread to resolve. No ego survives here - you do what the business needs. If you want calm and predictable, this isn't it.
