Digital & Growth Marketing Manager
Location: Remote with occasional travel to London (a couple of days per month)
Team: Works alongside content writer and developers (no line management)
About the Role
Our client is a well-established financial services group providing specialist restructuring, recovery, and commercial finance services. They’re now hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to lead high-volume digital acquisition across several verticals. The role is fast-paced and commercially driven, suited to someone highly analytical, proactive, and experienced in managing PPC budgets and sophisticated data funnels.
As the Digital Marketing & Growth Manager, you'll take ownership of lead generation, paid acquisition, CRM data quality and marketing performance. This is a hands-on role with genuine autonomy and influence.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing - Google Ads & PPC (Core Focus)
- Own and optimise high-budget PPC campaigns (c. £100k per month).
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Manage budgets and maximise ROAS.
- Improve Quality Scores and conversion rates.
- Continually test ad copy, landing pages and bidding strategies to improve campaign performance.

Lead Generation
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies across multiple digital channels.
- Build, test and optimise conversion funnels to maximise enquiry volumes.
- Improve lead quality while reducing cost per acquisition.
- Identify and evaluate new lead generation opportunities, platforms and partnerships.
- Continually optimise landing pages through A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
Email Marketing
- Create nurture sequences and automated customer journeys.
- Segment databases to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Design, build and optimise email campaigns for customer acquisition, retention and re-engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance and continually improve open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
Data, CRM & Analytics
- Maintain CRM integrity and data quality.
- Build dashboards and automated reporting systems.
- Track lead attribution and campaign performance across all marketing channels.
- Analyse marketing data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Produce regular performance reports with actionable insights for senior management.

Experience Required
- 5+ years experience in digital marketing, showing proven results in growing ROI & implementing marketing strategies based upon your own ideas.
- 5+ years managing Google Ads campaigns with proven track record of success.
- Proven B2B lead generation experience.
- Google Analytics and Tag Manager expertise.
- CRM and marketing automation experience.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- HubSpot, Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Commercially minded and proactive.
