Blue Light Card. Individually great, together unstoppable

The Role and the Team

BLC Near Me is the platform that connects our members with local offers from businesses in their communities. The Growth Marketing Manager for BLC Near Me role sits at the heart of that effort. Working closely with the Head of Go-to-Market, you'll own the planning and delivery of growth marketing campaigns from awareness and lead generation through to activation and early lifecycle engagement, with a particular focus on attracting and converting small independent retailers. It's a hands-on, high-ownership role with real scope to shape how BLC Near Me grows.

This is initially a six-month fixed-term contract.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and execute growth marketing campaigns across relevant channels, with a focus on merchant acquisition, activation, and funnel performance
  • Develop audience segmentation, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with small independent retailers and local partners
  • Build and manage an experimentation roadmap across channels, creatives, offers, and nurture activity, scaling what works and iterating quickly
  • Use paid platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google to set up, test, and optimise campaigns
  • Work with HubSpot to support lead management, lifecycle journeys, reporting, and continuous optimisation
  • Track and report on key funnel metrics including lead volume, conversion, and campaign efficiency, turning insight into clear recommendations
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, CRM, and commercial teams to align campaigns with proposition development and sales priorities
  • Apply AI tools across research, content development, campaign iteration, and performance reporting to accelerate learning and improve outcomes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
