RSL Awards delivers qualifications, assessments, and publishing across music, performing arts, and vocational education, while Rockschool supports music teachers and schools with performance-focused curriculum, resources, digital tools, and franchising opportunities. At RSL, we believe our success is down to the people who work for us. We are committed to providing opportunities for professional growth and development in a work environment that is innovative, dynamic, and supportive, which values professionalism and academic rigor at its core.
The Role
We’re looking for a commercially focused Growth Marketing Manager to help drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and digital performance across our portfolio of music, performing arts, and creative education products. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-led marketer who can plan, deliver, and optimise paid media campaigns, improve customer journeys, manage digital funnels, and use insight to turn marketing activity into measurable business impact. Working closely with colleagues across Product, Marketing, Technology, Business Development, and Customer Services, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our digital presence, improving conversion and retention, and helping more learners, educators, and creative professionals discover the opportunities RSL has to offer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Revenue & Commercial Accountability
- Own customer acquisition and revenue growth targets across RSL’s portfolio of products and services.
- Monitor and report on key commercial metrics including Return on Investment (ROI), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), conversion rates, and revenue attribution, ensuring marketing activity delivers measurable business impact.
Paid Media & Ad Scaling
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid acquisition campaigns across search, social, and display platforms.
- Manage audience targeting, creative testing, channel mix, and budget allocation to maximise performance and scale customer acquisition efficiently.
Funnel Design & Optimisation
- Map, analyse, and continuously improve the end-to-end customer journey from initial engagement through to purchase and retention.
- Identify points of friction or drop-off and implement structured testing programmes to improve conversion rates and customer experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
