About Prolific

At Prolific, our marketplace is rooted in academia, and that commitment runs deep. Alongside our work to accelerate the future of AI, we’re continuing to redefine how the world conducts academic research.

What started as a research-driven idea has evolved into the world’s most trusted infrastructure for human data. Today, tens of thousands of researchers from top universities across the globe rely on Prolific to power their work, from peer-reviewed studies to the next generation of technological breakthroughs.

We're doubling down on our mission to serve the academic community, deepening relationships, building smarter tools, and making high-quality human data more accessible than ever.

The Role

Prolific for Researchers is continuing to grow and scale its direct and product-led growth motion (self-serve), and we're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own the full funnel for our PLG segment, from acquisition through to activation, lifecycle and retention. This role sits at the intersection of full-funnel PLG strategy and hands-on channel execution.

You'll be the primary owner of how researchers discover, pilot and stick with Prolific through self-serve channels, and you'll also own paid acquisition strategy on behalf of the wider Prolific for Research marketing team, meaning your work directly supports Industry, Academic and Partnerships campaigns as well as PLG. It's a role for someone who wants genuine end-to-end ownership rather than a single stage of the funnel, and who's comfortable being the connective tissue between all marketing channels, product and lifecycle.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 4–7+ years' experience in Growth or Performance Marketing, with demonstrable ownership of an end-to-end product-led growth (PLG) funnel within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience driving measurable improvements across acquisition, activation and retention—not just campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of paid acquisition across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and other digital channels, with experience shaping strategy and optimising performance.
  • Experience building and optimising onboarding, lifecycle and in-product engagement programmes using tools such as Pendo, Appcues or similar.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with experience measuring funnel performance, defining PQLs, and using platforms such as HubSpot, Metabase or equivalent to inform decisions.
  • Working knowledge of organic growth channels, including SEO, content-led growth and emerging search (AEO), alongside paid acquisition.
  • Confident cross-functional stakeholder manager, able to partner with Product, Sales, RevOps and Customer Success, balance competing priorities and influence decisions.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with end-to-end ownership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
