Growth Marketing Specialist at Hack The Box

The Core Mission of the Growth Marketing Specialist

Drive net-new user acquisition for Hack The Box’s B2C platform by executing and optimizing scalable growth initiatives across creators, partnerships, paid/social campaigns, SEO, and other acquisition channels. Own the day-to-day execution, experimentation, and performance tracking needed to identify repeatable growth opportunities and continuously increase the volume and quality of new users.

Location & Work Mode

  • Full-time role
  • Athens, Greece Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days remote, plus one month of work from anywhere) - When hiring in Greece, we’re open to candidates from all cities in Greece. Those based within 55 km of our Athens office will follow a hybrid work model. For candidates located beyond that radius, a fully remote arrangement is available.

The Fellowship You’ll Be Joining

You will work closely with the consumer marketing leadership team, owning the operational execution of net-new user acquisition while partnering with colleagues focused on engagement, activation, adoption, and lifecycle marketing. You will also collaborate with external creators, affiliates, partners, and performance agencies, translating growth objectives into campaigns and measurable initiatives.

Core Tools: Google Analytics, SEO tools, affiliate/creator management tools, and reporting/dashboard tools. AI & Productivity: Generative AI tools for campaign ideation, copywriting, research, analysis, and improving day-to-day marketing efficiency

The Adventures That Await You

  • Own B2C acquisition campaigns across relevant channels, including paid/social media, creators, partnerships, SEO, and emerging growth opportunities.
  • Manage the creator and influencer pipeline end-to-end, including outreach, campaign briefs, negotiations, execution, budgets, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and manage partnership and affiliate initiatives, including onboarding, communication, campaign coordination, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Plan, launch, and evaluate growth experiments by developing hypotheses, defining KPIs, testing campaigns, and identifying scalable acquisition opportunities.
  • Collaborate with external performance agencies where relevant, providing direction on campaigns and creative requirements while monitoring execution and ROI.
  • Create and optimize growth content and campaign messaging that resonates with technical, cybersecurity-curious, and developer audiences.
  • Track and communicate acquisition performance, using metrics such as signups, conversion rates, CAC, channel ROI, attribution, impressions, and campaign performance to inform business decisions.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Points Required

  • 2+ years of experience in B2C growth, digital, performance, or consumer marketing, with a demonstrated track record of driving user acquisition.
  • Hands-on experience executing and testing multi-channel acquisition campaigns, rather than solely owning high-level marketing strategy.
  • Strong understanding of growth metrics and performance marketing, including CAC, conversion rates, ROI, attribution, and campaign KPIs.
  • Strong copywriting and campaign development skills, with the ability to create engaging messaging and adapt it to technical or cybersecurity-oriented audiences.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and execution skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives, make decisions based on data and available resources, and use AI/tools to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Technical curiosity and comfort with technology, with an understanding of technical concepts and an interest in cybersecurity, SaaS, developer tools, or similar technical products. Curiosity and some experience in using AI solutions to improve efficiency and ways of working.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences.

Strong nice-to-have:

  • Experience working with creators, influencers, affiliates, partnerships, or communities, ideally managing relationships and campaigns directly.
  • Previous experience working in the cybersecurity field.
  • Previous experience managing paid advertising.
