Growth & Pipeline Generation Manager
Newbury, Berkshire | Hybrid, 3 to 4 days in the office | Permanent | £52k to £65k plus benefits
Are you a pipeline builder, not just a campaign runner?
Our client, a PE backed B2B energy services business, is entering an ambitious growth phase and building a modern, data led pipeline engine to support it. Their marketing team is AI first, lean and commercially focused, and this is a role where the whole top of the funnel is yours to design, build and deliver.
The Role
You will own how the business finds, maps and engages target accounts across its direct customer and channel partner routes to market. Using platforms such as Amplemarket, Cognism and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you will identify the right companies and decision makers, enrich and prioritise them, and run personalised outreach at scale that turns into qualified MQLs and SQLs. Sales ready leads go to an in house call centre for qualification, and the rest go into nurture programmes you will lead until they are ready to convert.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience in a PE or VC backed scale up, GTM engineering, RevOps or SDR/BDR leadership would be a bonus. Energy sector knowledge is not required.
Why This Role
No layers between you and the work, visible impact on pipeline at senior level, and the chance to build the engine rather than maintain someone else's. If you enjoy pace, ownership and the bumpy ride of a scaling business, we would love to hear from you.
