Summary:

We're hiring a Growth Product Manager (Senior to Staff level) to help us achieve our big vision that everyone who makes music has a DistroKid account.

At DistroKid, our product and marketing funnels evolved in parallel. This role connects them and owns the whole picture: member growth end to end, from how artists find us through to how they get value and stay for the long haul. You'll establish where the leverage is, back it with data, and ship.

You'll partner with our staff marketing engineer to direct a small, dedicated cross-functional team, and move fast with them while working across product, marketing, data, and design. This role reports into product and treats marketing as an equal partner in setting priorities. You'll shape a single growth backlog, balancing measurable wins against the longer-term bets worth protecting. You'll build the framework that sizes every growth opportunity on the same terms, so prioritization runs on evidence and expected impact. Ideas and market intelligence come from across the company; you turn the best of them into instrumented experiments tied to the product roadmap.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own member growth and the prioritized backlog that moves it, and build the measurement framework the company uses to size and evaluate growth bets
  • Navigate the full funnel to achieve our growth goals, including acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, reactivation, and referrals
  • Run experiments end to end: hypothesis, instrumentation, analysis, iteration, and knowing when to stop
  • Use AI tooling to compress the loop from idea to shipped experiment, multiplying what a small, nimble team can ship
  • Keep leadership clear on what you're doing, why, and what you're trading off
  • Learn from the best consumer growth teams and bring back what works
  • Help PMs and marketers across the company surface and clear their own growth blockers
  • Use and iterate on the artist tools and promo assets we already have to build organic and viral growth loops.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in product or growth, with 3+ years owning a subscriber, revenue, or retention KPI at a scaled consumer or self-serve software company
  • You run experiments at scale, pull your own data, and know the difference between a real result and noise
  • You've used AI tools to get real growth or productivity gains, not just experimented with them
  • You have a knack for taking rough, half-formed ideas and turning them into plans a team is excited to run
  • You form a clear view of where the opportunity is and change it when the data tells you to
  • You make complicated things simple and explain them well, including the trade-offs

It's a bonus (but not required) to have:

  • familiarity with lifecycle and martech tooling
  • experience designing and optimizing personalized surfaces (and a clear sense of when personalization earns its complexity and when it doesn't)
