Growth & Retention Associate

Special Projects Team

London

About Us

At Simmer, we're on a mission to make healthy eating effortless. What started with £10 worth of ingredients and a handful of family recipes has grown into one of the UK's fastest-growing businesses. We've been recognised by The Sunday Times as the UK's 5th fastest-growing company for two consecutive years, but we're only just getting started.

We're looking for an exceptionally bright, ambitious and commercially curious person to join our Growth team.

This isn't a traditional marketing or CRM role. It's an opportunity to work on some of the highest-impact commercial projects in the business, helping us understand customer behaviour, improve retention and drive growth.

You'll work closely with experienced commercial leaders, take ownership from day one and have a genuine impact on how the business grows.

What you'll do

As a Growth & Retention Associate, you'll work across a wide variety of commercial projects, including:

  • Analysing customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities.
  • Supporting experiments to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Helping launch new customer initiatives and commercial campaigns.
  • Improving customer journeys across email, SMS, subscriptions and our website.
  • Using data to identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Working closely with Product, Ecommerce, Data, Creative and Growth teams.
  • Taking ownership of projects from idea through to execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
