Growth Sales Manager

Our Client, an established live events business with a strong track record of connecting advertisers with engaged audiences, is expanding its commercial team and is looking for an experienced Growth Sales Manager.

In this role, you will own revenue growth across a defined advertiser category. You will develop a deep understanding of the businesses in your category, their buying cycles and what they need from a successful campaign. Using that insight, you will win new business, build lasting partnerships and develop opportunities for repeat revenue.

This is a senior commercial position with clear ownership of results and the opportunity to shape how the business approaches its market.

What you will be doing

  • Own and grow revenue across your advertiser category, with accountability for targets and performance.
  • Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Build expertise in your category’s advertisers, buying behaviours and market trends.
  • Develop tailored proposals based on each client’s commercial objectives.
  • Build relationships with Marketing Managers, Directors and other senior decision makers.
  • Work closely with SDRs to shape pipeline strategy and prioritise the strongest opportunities.
  • Share market insight with colleagues across sales, marketing and client teams.
  • Ensure smooth handovers so campaigns are delivered effectively.
  • Manage your pipeline, forecasts and reporting accurately in Salesforce.
  • Use client feedback and campaign results to refine your approach and grow repeat business.

What you will need

  • You are a commercially sharp sales professional who enjoys taking ownership of a market and building relationships that last.
  • A proven track record of achieving revenue targets in B2B, media or solutions-led sales.
  • Confidence winning new business and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to understand client objectives and turn them into compelling proposals.
  • Strong organisation and forecasting skills, with the ability to manage several opportunities at once.
  • A focus on long-term partnerships as well as new business wins.
  • The drive to succeed in a fast-paced, growing commercial team.
  • Experience in media sales, advertising or event-led partnerships would be an advantage, as would experience working within a category-led sales structure.
