Role: Growth Lead

Location: London (5 days a week in the office)
Salary: £60-110k base + equity

We're partnered with an early-stage, pre-revenue startup building AI software for UK letting and estate agencies. Their product sits on top of an agency's existing systems and automates the operational work - prospecting, viewings, maintenance, compliance and arrears - including an AI agent that picks up the calls the branch can't get to. The product works. The market doesn't know it yet. This is a founding commercial hire.

The Role

This is the company's founding Growth hire - you'll own the growth function and build the team behind you. Residential agents are busy, sceptical, and have been pitched a dozen "AI" tools this year that all overclaimed. The job is to cut through that: find the message that makes an agent lean in, build the engine that puts the product in front of every agency in the country, and make it the first name they think of for AI in their business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Setting the positioning and message that makes a busy, sceptical letting agent lean in, and proving it lands
  • Building the demand engine - content, events, organic, founder-led and paid social - with significant autonomy to define the GTM approach as well as execute it
  • Owning the funnel from first touch to qualified demo, and handing sales a consistent flow they can work
  • Getting close to the customer - talking to agents, sitting on sales calls, and turning what you hear into message and campaigns that drive results
  • Measuring every channel you build, knowing what's working and why, and acting on it
  • Hiring and building a small team once the motion is working and the playbook exists

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 4+ years' experience, including time at a startup from an early stage (pre-seed or seed through Series A/B/C) - you've been part of a company as it scaled, not just joined once things were already working
  • A track record of building demand from near-zero in a vertical or SMB B2B market, with direct, demonstrable contribution to that success
  • Comfort selling something the market doesn't yet know it needs, to a non-technical, time-poor, sceptical buyer
  • A fast-moving, lean way of working, with the initiative to solve problems as they come up
  • Hands-on experience with AI in your own work - a Custom GPT, an LLM-powered automation, a prompt-engineered workflow, a side project - or a clear plan to get there before starting

Not for You If

  • You've only ever tuned an existing funnel, rather than built one from scratch
  • You'd rather manage agencies and vendors than do the work yourself

Why Join

  • A true ground-floor, founding seat - build the growth and marketing function from scratch, not inherit one
  • Significant autonomy to define the go-to-market approach, not just execute someone else's plan
  • Work directly with the founders on a small team building a new category
  • Real room to grow into building and leading a team as the function scales
