Role Description

The GCSE Online Business Studies Teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Business Studies lessons to secondary learners in a virtual classroom environment. This part-time, remote role involves:

The teacher will design and adapt lesson plans and digital resources to suit diverse learning needs, while maintaining clear communication with learners and guardians. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Participating in online staff meetings when required
  • Ensuring alignment with school policies
  • Supporting learners in exam preparation and study skills

Qualifications

  • Strong subject knowledge and practical understanding of Economics and Business.
  • Demonstrated ability in Education and Lesson Planning, including creating structured, engaging online lessons.
  • Excellent Communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly and supporting diverse learners.
  • Relevant teaching qualification or certification, with experience teaching GCSE or equivalent Business Studies curriculum.
  • Experience with online teaching platforms, digital classroom tools, and effective remote learning practices.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, respectful online learning environment and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field preferred.
