Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a GCSE Online Humanities Teacher. The teacher will deliver live and/or recorded humanities lessons (with an emphasis on geography) to secondary-level learners, following the GCSE curriculum and school standards. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role also involves:

Qualifications
- Strong teaching practice in middle school or lower to upper secondary settings, with experience preparing learners for GCSE humanities subjects, particularly Geography.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development, including the ability to design engaging, structured online lessons aligned with examination requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear online instruction, feedback delivery, and supportive interaction with diverse learners in a virtual environment.
- Relevant academic background in Humanities, Geography, Education, or a closely related field; teaching certification or qualification for secondary-level humanities is highly beneficial.
- Experience with online teaching platforms, digital classroom tools, and basic educational technology; ability to manage remote classes and maintain learner engagement.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider teaching team.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education and sensitivity to cultural and linguistic diversity among international learners.
