What You’ll Do

As a GTM Activation, Senior Marketing Associate in Kainos, working within the Campaign Activation team, you will support the planning, coordination, and activation of integrated marketing campaigns aligned to commercial priorities for the Workday Product Business Unit. You will work as part of a GTM Activation team, you will support the end-to-end activation of campaigns designed to drive pipeline generation, progression, and conversion. This is a campaign coordination, briefing, and delivery support role, helping to ensure campaigns are effectively launched, activated, and optimised across the full buyer journey. You will also support the application of campaign messaging across key campaign touchpoints, helping adapt core messaging into effective communications across emails, landing pages, webinar activity, nurture programmes, and other activation channels.

You will support campaign orchestration across specialist teams including Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Content, Events, Sales, SDRs, Sales Enablement, Alliances, and partners such as Workday, ensuring strong alignment from campaign launch through to follow-up. You will use your marketing experience, organisation skills, and commercial awareness to support campaign delivery, stakeholder alignment, and overall campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with development and management of campaign plans, budgets, and execution – you will support the development and implementation of integrated campaign plans aligned to commercial priorities for the Workday Product BU. You will help define target audiences, messaging, timelines, and channel plans, ensuring campaigns are set up for successful execution. You will support budget tracking and ensure activity is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Supporting campaign coordination and activation – working with marketing colleagues, sales teams, and subject-matter experts across the business, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery tracking of integrated, multi-channel campaigns to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and pipeline acceleration. You will support briefing, coordination, and follow-through across specialist teams across Content, Events, and Marketing Operations, ensuring clear requirements, aligned timelines, and effective delivery across all channels. You will support the development and application of campaign messaging across campaign touchpoints including emails, landing pages, webinar communications, and nurture activity.
  • Contributing to campaign delivery across channels – you will support campaigns delivered through email, automation/nurtures, webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising, physical events, and partner-led activity, ensuring delivery remains aligned to campaign objectives and timelines. You will contribute to campaign activation activities within marketing automation and campaign platforms, while working closely with specialist teams to ensure effective delivery. You will help ensure campaigns are prepared, aligned, and launch-ready across all channels.
  • Supporting sales alignment and lead follow-up – you will work closely with Sales and SDR teams to support campaign launches and follow-up activity, helping to drive strong lead management and pipeline progression. You will also support Sales Enablement activity for key campaigns where required.
  • Contributing to reporting, accountability, and ROI – you will actively contribute to campaign effectiveness and ROI reporting through evaluation, analysis, and performance tracking. Working with Marketing Operations, you will help identify insights and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Developing strategic alliances with Partners and agencies – you will support relationships with key partners such as Workday and work with Alliances and Partner Marketing teams to support co-marketing opportunities and partner-led campaigns.
  • Working as part of a team – you will proactively collaborate as part of the Campaign Activation team and wider marketing function to deliver against overall OKRs. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and support junior colleagues where needed.

Minimum (Essential) Requirements

  • Good relevant experience in marketing, ideally within B2B campaign delivery or campaign activation
  • Experience supporting the development and implementation of marketing campaigns that drive business results and meet objectives
  • Experience within the Workday ecosystem or enterprise SaaS environment
  • Experience of marketing techniques including email, automation/nurtures, webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising and physical events, with willingness to develop further expertise
  • Experience of working with Sales / SDR teams to support lead generation and pipeline progression
  • Understanding of generating leads and managing them through to qualification
  • Experience of using CRM and marketing automation
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • A self-starter who is highly motivated, confident, focused, disciplined with a drive to succeed, whilst upholding Kainos values
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with a strong can-do attitude
  • Show resilience and persistence with the ability to learn from mistakes plus guidance and coaching from colleagues
  • Capable of managing own workload while operating in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate ideas while aligning to branding and messaging strategy

Desirable

  • Degree or Higher in Marketing, Communications or a similar, relevant discipline
  • Knowledge or experience in the technology industry and understanding of trends
  • Experience supporting campaigns for a business area, product, or strategic initiative
  • Exposure to strategic partners and co-marketing campaigns
