GTM Coach – Director/VP+
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a GTM Coach – Director/VP+ based in United Kingdom.
This is a part-time coaching opportunity for experienced sales and go-to-market leaders who want to turn their leadership expertise into meaningful one-to-one coaching impact.
You will work directly with professionals to help them set and achieve goals, strengthen leadership capabilities, communicate more effectively, and navigate complex workplace challenges.
The role combines senior commercial leadership experience with structured coaching, supported by dedicated training, proprietary tools, and an active coaching community.
You will coach members virtually while providing thoughtful support between sessions through digital communication.
All selected coaches participate in an ICF-certified training program, giving experienced leaders the opportunity to develop a professional coaching toolkit regardless of prior certification.
The position offers flexibility alongside other professional commitments while encouraging a long-term investment in member relationships and coaching excellence.
It is particularly well suited to senior sales leaders who are passionate about developing people, continuous learning, and helping professionals build fulfilling careers.
Accountabilities
- Provide high-quality one-to-one coaching to members through virtual sessions using dedicated coaching platforms and tools.
- Help members identify clear professional goals, define actionable steps, track progress, and maintain accountability over time.
- Support professionals in becoming stronger leaders, communicating more effectively, solving workplace challenges, and navigating career decisions.
- Help members build greater confidence, engagement, fulfillment, and effectiveness both in their professional lives and beyond.
- Create a safe, respectful, empathetic environment that enables members to explore challenges openly and take appropriate risks in their development.
- Communicate with members between coaching sessions through dedicated email and in-app messaging to maintain continuity and momentum.
- Participate in ongoing coach training and development to strengthen coaching skills and consistently apply the established coaching methodology.
- Engage actively with the coaching community by sharing coaching tools, commercial leadership insights, experiences, and best practices.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, coaching excellence, and helping professionals thrive in their careers.
- Act as an ambassador for the coaching community by consistently demonstrating kindness, respect, professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
- Commit to building meaningful long-term relationships with members through a minimum coaching commitment of 12+ hours per month for at least 24 months.
- Complete the required ICF-certified coach training program before beginning coaching engagements and apply the methodology learned throughout member interactions.

Requirements:
- 20+ years of professional experience in sales, go-to-market, commercial leadership, or a closely related field, including significant experience managing sales teams and developing individuals.
- Current or previous experience at Director, Vice President, or equivalent senior sales leadership level.
- Strong track record of coaching, mentoring, developing, and leading sales professionals and teams.
- Coaching certification is a plus but is not required, as selected coaches participate in the required ICF-certified training program.
- Genuine interest in transforming senior sales leadership experience into professional coaching skills and developing a structured coaching practice.
- Strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence, with the ability to listen actively and create a safe environment for members to be open and vulnerable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions, challenge constructively, and provide meaningful support.
- Passion for helping professionals grow, advance their careers, strengthen their leadership capabilities, and build more fulfilling working lives.
- Growth mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning, feedback, and development, regardless of previous coaching experience.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment and adapting to evolving member needs.
- Able to commit a minimum of 3–5 hours per week, or at least 12+ hours per month, to coaching responsibilities.
- Commitment to remaining active for a minimum of 24 months to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with members.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating virtually with a distributed coaching community.
- Candidates must be based in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, France, or Germany.
