👋 What are we building?
The last major technological shift - the rise of the consumer internet - created LinkedIn as the networked winner in recruitment. The next great shift is here. AI is transforming how people and companies connect and it will redefine the global labour market.
At Jack & Jill, we are building the company that leads this transformation.
We're 17 months old, and have built a brilliant team of Europe's best engineers, operators and ex-founders. We are run-rating multiple £xm in revenue, and have raised $20M led by tier 1 VC Creandum (Lovable, Spotify, Black Forest Labs, Bolt). Read more on TechCrunch.
In the coming years, every knowledge worker will have an AI agent managing their career, and every company will have an AI agent helping them hire.
By connecting those agents, we're building a new infrastructure for the future of the labour market itself.
If that vision excites you, come help us build it.
👀 What is the role and who are we looking for?
We're hiring a GTM Engineer to join our Jill Delivery team, working alongside Ed Steele and Ed Kim. You’ll build the machine that enables us to scale our GTM and customer base management to the next level.
Hundreds of companies have now set up a role via Jill. Our growth doesn't come from completely manual work - it comes from setting up scalable systems, identifying signals including which accounts are at risk before they churn, and which are ready to expand before they ask.
This is a 0→1 role, and it's genuinely technical. You'll ship agents, own connections and integrations, and build the systems end to end. You'll also sit close enough to customers to know which problems are worth solving.
What you'll actually do:
- Own internal tooling and systems. Build systems for our commercial team that scale our impact further, and provide greater visibility into what's actually happening across every account: usage, health, expansion signals, churn risk and more.
- Build complex, scalable agents. We build with agents constantly, and you'll ship even more advanced agents into our existing workflows. This could include automating customer-facing delivery, such as reactivation and expansion campaigns.
- Turn signal into action. Uncover leading indicators that predict outcomes like expansion and churn, and wire them into something that executes timely account-level interventions.
- Bring strong commercial focus to everything you do. The ideal hire will frame everything in terms of commercial and customer outcomes: retention, usage, expansion, roles and revenue per account, and more.
- Work deeply in the product. Collaborate with our engineers to A/B test features, improve customer enablement in-product, and constantly take on initiatives to improve our customer experience where possible.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll be a great fit if
- 💻 You can build complex systems. You've written or been exposed to production code, or you're a self-taught builder who has shipped products and put them in the hands of users. You're able to navigate a codebase, and work with agents and APIs.
- 🧠 You think in systems. You see a manual process and instinctively work out what the scalable version looks like. You're allergic to work that has to be redone every week.
- 💰 You're genuinely commercially minded. You care about value delivered to the end customer, not perfect systems for their own sake. You focus ruthlessly on systems that move the needle towards improving business outcomes.
- 🤖 You use agents constantly. You never build without them, you understand how to improve them and where they break, and you have opinions about what should and shouldn't be automated.
- 🏢 You've been exposed to hiring processes in some way. Ideally, you understand what it's like to be a hiring manager: the anxiety of a role sitting open too long, and why speed and communication matter so much. That gives you genuine empathy for our customers.
- 🧭 You're high agency. You find the highest-leverage problem and run at it hard. You'd rather ship something rough this week and iterate, than spec the idealised version for next week.
The profile
We're open to exceptional people from a range of backgrounds, but you likely fit one of these:
- The GTM Operator Turned Technical: You’ve spent time on the front lines, leading sales calls and working in sales teams. You’ve analytical, have tinkered with agents, and you’ve upskilled technically. You’re now leaning into building systems.
- The Technical RevOps Profile: You've worked in RevOps or growth, and built the systems yourself rather than briefing someone else. You’ve shipped scalable systems into production: automations, integrations, internal tools, agents and more.
- The Engineer Who Turned Commercial: You started as a software engineer and moved toward the customer - solutions engineering, forward-deployed roles, sales engineering, or growth.
