We’re on a mission to protect society from fraud and money laundering. We’ve already protected over 3 million people through life’s big transactions.

Fraud and regulation are rising, costing the UK economy over £100bn every year; this makes it more difficult for businesses to protect themselves and their clients - individuals like you and me - from fraud and money laundering.

Our co-founders Olly and Jack were led to this area when a friend was defrauded of £25K when buying their first property. At the time, anti-fraud technology didn’t exist, which meant that completing the anti-fraud checks required in these processes was largely manual. These big life moments should be exciting, but instead are often confusing and scary due to the painful process of completing these paper-based checks and the risk of fraud.

Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app based document checks, facial recognition and open banking.

Over 1,500 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $33m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel.

About the role:

We don’t need someone to keep our CRM tidy. We need someone to build the machine that supports our go-to-market strategy.

As our GTM Engineer, you’ll sit in the TechOps team, alongside the people rethinking how Thirdfort operates with AI and automation, and embed day-to-day with our commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success). You’ll own the commercial tech stack end to end: Salesforce at the centre, with HubSpot and Zendesk in constant conversation with it, the data that flows through them, and increasingly the automations and AI agents that make manual work just run.

Keeping the stack healthy is table stakes. Inventing what runs on top of it is the job. If your instinct when you see a manual process is “I could build something that does this ten times better”… keep reading.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build the GTM machine: design and ship workflow automations and AI agents across the commercial funnel - enrichment, routing, handoffs, reporting - so work that used to be manual just runs. Pick the right tool for each job (native Salesforce, n8n, APIs, LLMs) and know when to let an automation run and when to keep a human in the loop.
  • Own Salesforce and the commercial tech stack: config, fields, layouts, flows, permissions, security, and platform health, reaching for Apex when needed. You keep the platform coherent while constantly improving it.
  • Treat commercial data as a product: hygiene rules, deduplication, data integrity standards, and audit/remediation across commercial systems, because your systems are only as good as what flows through them.
  • Run the BAU engine: own the day-to-day support queue for the commercial stack, triaging, fixing and communicating clearly.
  • Deliver commercial tooling projects to a defined scope and timeline, partnering with commercial leadership on what the stack should become.
  • Make handoffs disappear: build the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and CS, so the baton passes cleanly without anyone translating by hand.
  • Shape Thirdfort’s AI agenda: partner with the TechOps Lead, act as an AI champion for the commercial teams, and bring GTM lessons back into the central TechOps function.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in GTM, Revenue Operations, or an adjacent technical role. Ideally 2+ years in a high-growth SaaS environment, with a track record of improving how commercial teams work through systems, not just supporting them.
  • Evidence you’ve built things. Automations, integrations, agents, internal tools, systems that didn’t exist before, and that other people rely on. Tell us about them.
  • Hands-on Salesforce administration. You’ve owned an org (not just used one), you go deep on the back end (config, flows, permissions, platform health), and are familiar with Apex.
  • Comfortable stitching tools together. APIs, webhooks, no-code platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier or similar), and light scripting, where it earns its place. You've worked hands-on across a modern GTM stack - CRM, enrichment, sales engagement, conversation intelligence, AI workflow tools - and you pick up new systems fast.
  • Fluent with AI tools and already using them to move faster. Bonus points if you’ve built AI into operational workflows (enrichment, automated QA, agents) and can discuss the impact they’ve had.
  • A systems thinker who sees processes as things to be redesigned, not just maintained - who designs for data capture, edge cases and the people who live in the process, and who knows when a problem deserves a fast, bespoke build versus a durable, long-term solution.
  • Real attention to detail and a low tolerance for messy data.
  • A self-starter who owns the outcome, not just the ticket. You balance a real BAU workload with projects and builds without someone sequencing your week for you, and you’re comfortable operating as the sole owner of these systems with the backing of TechOps rather than a team of admins around you.
  • A clear communicator who’s at home with both commercial and technical people, turning “we wish we could…” into a system that does it.
