We’re working with a high-growth, early-stage software business that has built strong traction with a mix of fast-growing and established customers.
Following a successful funding round, the business is now at an important stage of growth. The founders have taken sales a long way themselves, and the next step is bringing in someone who can turn that early momentum into a more repeatable, scalable commercial engine.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be expected to win new business yourself, build the process around you and, over time, build the team.
Location: London, 4 days a week in the office
Package: Up to £100k base + uncapped upside + equity
Reporting to: Founders
You’ll own the commercial cycle end-to-end — from identifying target customers and generating pipeline through to discovery, pilots and closing deals.
There is already a strong foundation in place through content, events, community and founder networks, but they’re looking for someone who can do more than work warm leads. You need to be a genuine hunter who is comfortable picking up the phone, getting in front of prospects and creating opportunities from scratch.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Alongside selling, you’ll help build the commercial infrastructure around you — CRM, sequencing, reporting, messaging and the wider sales playbook.
As the business grows, there is a clear opportunity to build and lead the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning the full sales cycle from outbound through to close
- Generating and closing net-new business
- Building a repeatable outbound and GTM playbook
- Improving CRM, sequencing and reporting
- Converting inbound, events and community activity into pipeline
- Working directly with the founders on pricing, positioning and GTM strategy
- Using modern sales and AI tooling to automate the admin and focus time on selling
What They’re Looking For
You’ll likely have 5+ years in sales or GTM within a startup or scale-up and a track record of both hitting targets and helping build the commercial function around you. They’re particularly interested in people who:

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- Have built process, tooling or a sales motion rather than just inherited one
- Are genuinely strong at outbound
- Are comfortable selling over the phone and face-to-face
- Have owned a full sales cycle
- Can operate with a lot of autonomy
- Are comfortable working directly with founders
- Can sell a technical or regulated product without needing to be a subject-matter expert from day one
Experience in fintech, RegTech, LegalTech, HealthTech or enterprise SaaS would be useful, but it isn’t essential.
Why It’s Interesting
This is a chance to join early enough to have real influence. The product is proven, there is already commercial momentum, and the next challenge is building a sales engine that can scale. For someone who still loves selling but wants the opportunity to build a function and ultimately lead a team, it’s a really strong next step.
