About the Role

We are a capital advisory firm, an investment banking-style operation helping companies raise equity and debt, with a 25+ person international team growing aggressively. We're hiring one person to own our entire go-to-market engine.

The mandate is clear: scale to 1,000,000 cold emails sent per month, as quickly as possible, alongside a serious LinkedIn outbound motion. You'll build the machine, run it, and scale it.

What You'll Own

  • Cold email (Smartlead): campaign setup, sequencing, copy testing, spintax, sending infrastructure, and deliverability
  • LinkedIn outreach (Aimfox): multi-step connection and messaging sequences, iteration, and A/B testing
  • End-to-end campaign management: launch, monitor, iterate, kill what doesn't work, double down on what does
  • Tracking and reporting: reply rates, positive reply rates, meetings booked, and conversions, reporting on what matters and nothing else
  • The firm's full GTM engine: this is an operator role, not an assistant role

You are not the appointment setter. Our setters and AI handle booking once positive replies come in. Your job is to keep the top of that funnel full of qualified positive replies. Lead sourcing is already handled at strong pricing, so execution is the bottleneck you're solving.

Who This Role Is For

We're looking for an indie-hacker-style cold email operator, someone genuinely immersed in this space (if you're familiar with the Nick Abraham school of cold email, you know exactly what we mean). Specifically, you:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Know that open rates are a vanity metric. You don't track opens, understand why open tracking hurts deliverability, and focus solely on replies and positive replies
  • Stay current on inbox infrastructure providers. We currently use ScaledMail, but you should be able to name three providers you'd evaluate this month and explain why
  • Understand Clay and enrichment/waterfall workflows for building and cleaning lists
  • Live and breathe spintax, copy rotation, domain and inbox ramp-up, warmup, and A/B testing at volume
  • Have run LinkedIn sequences (Aimfox, HeyReach, Expandi, or similar) and iterated based on data
  • Have genuine interest in finance. You'll be writing outreach for founders and CFOs raising capital, so markets, M&A, and fundraising need to hold your interest
  • Take initiative. This is the most important trait for us. No one will hand you a daily task list. You spot a bottleneck, you fix it; you have an idea, you test it and bring us the numbers

Who Should Not Apply

  • You need detailed instructions before you can act
  • Your cold email experience amounts to a few hundred emails from a single Gmail account
  • You consider warmup and deliverability optional details
  • You're looking to juggle this alongside multiple other clients. This is a full-time, dedicated seat

Compensation

$1,000 USD/month base

Plus 2.5% commission on every deal closed through the GTM engine you build. As an advisory firm, closed deals mean five-figure fee events, so this is real, uncapped money. A high-performing engine should let you out-earn your base many times over.

First 30 Days

  • Audit our current Smartlead and Aimfox setup and infrastructure
  • Take over live campaigns and ship your first copy and sequence iterations in week one
  • Present a ramp plan to reach 1M emails/month: domains, inboxes, providers, warmup schedule, and copy rotation
  • Own the weekly numbers: sends, replies, positive replies, meetings booked

How to Apply

Submit your application, and we'll message you directly to answer these screening questions.

  • Open tracking: on or off, and why?
  • You need 500 new sending inboxes live this month. Which providers would you evaluate, and why?
  • Describe the best cold email campaign you've personally run: list size, monthly volume, reply rate, positive reply rate, and one iteration that moved the numbers.
  • Outline a rough plan to scale from 100K to 1M emails/month without burning domains.
  • Describe a LinkedIn outreach sequence you've run: tool, steps, and results.

Compensation: $1,000/month base + 2.5% uncapped commission

Type: Full-time, fully remote, long-term

Industry: Finance / Capital Advisory
