ABOUT WIREX & THE BAAS OPPORTUNITY
Wirex is a regulated crypto-enabled payments platform used by over 6 million people in 130 countries. We’ve crossed $1 billion in annualized on-chain transactions, and we’re now scaling the infrastructure that powers other businesses.
Wirex BaaS provides regulated infrastructure for companies looking to launch card programs, payment accounts, and digital asset services under Wirex’s licensing. Our clients span Web2 and Web3: fintech startups, crypto exchanges, DeFi protocols, wallet providers, and established payment businesses, all accessing IBAN accounts, card issuance, stablecoin on/off-ramps, and programmatic payment solutions through a single API.
BaaS is one of the most strategically important growth areas at Wirex. This hire is pivotal to our success. We’re looking for someone who will build and close a serious pipeline from day one.
THE ROLE
This is a pure hunter role. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach through to proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement, while also nurturing and growing existing partner relationships.
You will be the primary commercial interface between Wirex BaaS and its partners, coordinating across Product, Compliance, Engineering, and Legal to deliver compelling proposals and smooth onboarding experiences.
You will be given autonomy, a strong product to sell, and a leadership team that is fully invested in your success. In return, we expect relentless pipeline activity, commercial rigour, and results.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
New Business Development
- Proactively source and qualify inbound and outbound leads across fintech, payments, crypto, and Web3 verticals
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
- Build and maintain a healthy, accurately forecasted pipeline in HubSpot CRM
- Develop tailored commercial proposals including pricing structures, interchange revenue-share models, and integration scopes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Highly Valued
- Direct experience with stablecoin infrastructure, USDC, USDT, on-chain settlement, on/off-ramps
- Understanding of external authorization flows, KYC/KYB processes (e.g., SumSub), or API-driven partner integrations
- An existing network of relevant contacts across the BaaS, embedded finance, or crypto infrastructure space
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- You’ve spent years in the infrastructure layer of payments or crypto, not selling around it, but selling it. You understand the commercial and technical complexity of BaaS deals: the compliance considerations, the integration timelines, the stakeholder dynamics, and the patience required to bring the right partners across the line.
- You know the difference between a prospect who is genuinely evaluating BaaS and one who is kicking tires. You’ve navigated long sales cycles in regulated environments, and you know how to keep momentum without losing rigor. You probably already know some of the names on our target partner list, and they know you.
- You’re not looking for a role with a rigid playbook. You want the freedom to build something, with the backing of a business that has the product, the licenses, and the ambition to compete at the highest level. You find that combination genuinely exciting.

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Generous vacation allowance + Public Holidays
- Paid Charity Day
- Remote working and flexible hours
- Annual Training Allowance
- Significant opportunity for career growth at a leading fintech
Note: Benefits will depend on the region in which you are hired.
