European Safety Bureau | Glasgow | Hybrid

£50,000 + performance bonus

3 days per week in our Glasgow office

European Safety Bureau is an established UK consultancy helping multi-site organisations manage food safety, health & safety, fire safety and operational risk. We have decades of expertise, strong customer relationships, and a significant opportunity to grow. We are now looking for a GTM Marketing Manager to build the marketing engine that supports the next stage of that growth. This is not a traditional corporate marketing role. We want somebody commercially minded, hands-on, and comfortable taking an idea from “we should target this market” through to a live campaign generating conversations with prospective customers.

You will work closely with the CEO, understand the business deeply, and turn commercial ideas into structured, measurable go-to-market activity.

What you’ll own

You will take responsibility for ESB’s go-to-market plan across a number of industry verticals and propositions. That will include:

  • Developing and executing sector-specific marketing campaigns
  • Creating propositions and messaging for different buyer groups
  • Building campaign landing pages and conversion journeys
  • Developing targeted outbound email campaigns
  • Building and segmenting prospect databases
  • Managing marketing activity and automation through Zoho One
  • Creating thought-leadership content, blogs, and industry insights
  • Developing customer newsletters and existing-customer campaigns
  • Improving how content is distributed across LinkedIn and other channels
  • Identifying opportunities to turn ESB’s expertise and data into compelling campaigns
  • Coordinating designers, web developers, and specialist external partners
  • Analysing campaign performance and improving what works
  • Supporting the development and launch of new propositions and routes to market

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will have freedom to test ideas, move quickly, and build repeatable marketing processes around the things that generate commercial results.

What we’re looking for

We are less interested in somebody who has spent their career managing agencies and more interested in somebody who has actually built and launched campaigns themselves.

You are likely to have experience across several of the following:

  • B2B demand generation
  • Go-to-market strategy
  • Outbound email
  • LinkedIn campaigns
  • Zoho One, Zoho CRM, or similar marketing automation platforms
  • Landing-page development
  • Content marketing
  • SEO
  • Paid acquisition
  • Lead-generation databases
  • Customer marketing
  • Campaign analytics

Experience with tools such as Zoho One, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Webflow, WordPress, or similar platforms would be useful. You should also be highly comfortable using AI as part of your everyday workflow for research, analysis, campaign development, and content creation.

More importantly, you’ll be someone who...

  • Moves quickly. We value sensible iteration over months of polishing.
  • Finishes things. Ideas only matter when campaigns actually go live.
  • Thinks commercially. Marketing exists to create awareness, conversations, opportunities, and revenue.
  • Can operate independently. You will receive plenty of ideas and domain expertise, but you won’t receive a perfectly written brief for every task.
  • Can challenge constructively. We want somebody who can improve an idea, not simply execute whatever lands on their desk.
  • Is curious. Our markets are specialist. You’ll need to understand how our customers operate and what keeps their senior teams awake at night.
  • Is comfortable building. The opportunity is to create a marketing capability, not inherit a finished one.

What you’ll be joining

ESB has been operating for nearly four decades and works with organisations across hospitality, foodservice, hotels, leisure, care, and other multi-site environments. We have significant subject-matter expertise and a growing portfolio of ideas, campaigns, and propositions that we believe can materially expand the business. The challenge is turning that intellectual property into a consistent commercial growth engine. You will have direct access to the CEO, significant autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how the marketing function develops as the business grows. For the right person, there is considerable scope for the role to develop in both responsibility and seniority.

The package

  • £50,000 salary + bonus
  • Performance-related bonus
  • Glasgow-based, with three days per week in the office

If you’re a commercially minded marketer who enjoys turning ideas into campaigns, building things from scratch, and seeing your work directly contribute to growth, we’d like to hear from you.
