Nivoda: where innovation and gemstones meet
At Nivoda, we help jewellery retailers and gemstone suppliers trade more easily. Our B2B marketplace connects jewellery businesses of all sizes with global diamond and gemstone supply.
Nivoda has more than 400 employees across the world. Our platform helps buyers and sellers trade diamonds and gemstones securely, efficiently, and at competitive prices.
The Data & Financial Platform team
The Data & Financial Platform team owns Nivoda's data platform plus the shared financial capabilities of the marketplace. Its job is to make core data and financial systems reliable, useful, and scalable.
This role sits in the team but works day to day with GTM. You will work with the Head of Data, engineers, analysts, Sales, and Marketing as we rebuild Nivoda's GTM infrastructure.
About the role
Nivoda is rebuilding its GTM infrastructure. Too much of the funnel still relies on manual steps, disconnected tools, and fragile hand-offs. This role exists to replace them with reliable systems and automation.
You will work across our platform, GTM Engine, Salesforce, Customer.io, enrichment services, Snowflake, and other tools. Salesforce is an important integration point, but you will not own it. Start with the problem, choose the simplest sensible approach, then build or configure what is needed.
This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with the Head of Data and experienced engineers. You will have context and clear priorities, with room to work through the detail, propose an approach, and ship it safely.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What would you be doing?
- Work with GTM stakeholders to turn unclear process requests into clear technical requirements and a sensible implementation approach.
- Build integrations, customer or prospect event flows, automations, and changes to our GTM Engine. Use APIs, webhooks, queues, scheduled workflows, or small services where they fit.
- Choose build, buy, or configure based on the problem. Prefer native platform capability first, tooling or middleware second, custom code where it creates real value.
- Build for production from the start. Test common failure paths, handle duplicates and retries, then add the monitoring needed to spot problems quickly.
- Ship and support what you build using version control, code review, and safe deployment. Help troubleshoot or recover failures after launch.
- Work with Salesforce, other platform owners, and our Commercial Data Analyst to integrate cleanly while making sure systems emit the data needed to measure performance.
- Document important flows, decisions, and recovery steps so the stack does not depend on one person.
What do we need from you?
- 2+ years in software, systems, or integration engineering. You have shipped real integrations or services using APIs, webhooks, or event-driven systems.
- Solid programming ability in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Working SQL plus confidence using Git and code review.
- Experience integrating with business systems such as CRM, payments, finance, marketing, or operations platforms. Salesforce experience is useful but not required.
- You can work directly with non-technical stakeholders. You can challenge an unclear request and turn the underlying need into something buildable.
- You can learn unfamiliar systems quickly, then choose the simplest solution that will hold up in production.
- You think about failure cases such as unavailable APIs, duplicate records, or conflicting updates before they become production problems.
