About CGTN and the role
CGTN is an international media organization known for delivering impactful news and analysis to a global audience across TV and digital platforms.
As a Guest Booker at CGTN, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging high-profile experts and thought leaders to participate in our broadcasts, contributing significantly to our programming quality and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, and schedule high-profile guests for TV and digital media appearances.
- Collaborate with the guest booking team to expand and diversify our guest roster.
- Conduct thorough pre-interviews, briefing guests on discussion topics, formats, and technical requirements.
- Attend international conferences, seminars, and workshops to network and build relationships with potential guests.
- Foster and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with guests and their representatives.

Qualifications
- Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Working proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of two years' experience in media or related fields.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks, particularly with governmental bodies, think tanks, and academic institutions globally.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A collaborative team player with openness to cultural diversity and teamwork.
