Job Description

We are Global
We’re proud to be one of the world’s leading media and entertainment groups. Whether it be on-air, via Global Player or through our outdoor advertising, we entertain and reach over 50 million individuals across the UK every week.

Across our entire business, we’re committed to making more moments that matter for our audiences, customers and for each other. And every moment matters…the small, the big and everything in between. We couldn’t do any of it without our talented, passionate Globallers. Everything we do is driven by our culture and the talented people who make it happen.

Here at Global, we have a saying…it’s all about how you make people feel. It’s our company ethos, our guiding belief and it’s so much more than words. It’s the vibe you get when you walk into one of our offices, it’s what keeps us honest and true to who we are, and above all, it’s the reason we all love to work here.

Your Role: Guest Booker – Global Podcasts

As a Guest Booker at Global, you will work across multiple always‑on podcast shows and formats – both entertainment and factual – building strong relationships to secure high‑calibre guests that fit each show’s editorial direction, content plan and audience. This is a practical, delivery‑focused role where you’ll be hustling for guests, managing diaries, confirming logistics and supporting hosts and producers so every booking runs smoothly and adds real value.

Key Responsibilities

Guest booking and relationship management (50%)
Proactively research, target and approach potential guests that fit each show’s editorial brief, tone and audience. Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, publicists, managers, labels, publishers and other external partners, as well as internal producers, hosts and wider production teams, to generate a reliable pipeline of relevant guest opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This includes availability checks, holds, confirmations, contracts/clearances (where required), logistics and call sheets. Ensure guests are fully briefed and prepared, maintain accurate trackers and contact databases, and support recordings as needed – meeting and settling guests, managing timings and coordinating with studios and tech teams.

Collaboration, process and alignment (15%)
Work closely with production teams and the wider business to understand upcoming content plans and guest needs, helping to implement efficient processes for enquiries, briefing and follow‑up. Coordinate with Global’s Artist & Entertainment team to align guest approaches and talent opportunities, maximising impact across podcasts and other Global initiatives.

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • Think Big:
Work across a range of always‑on podcast shows in both entertainment and factual, helping to secure guests that elevate episodes and grow audiences.

  • Better Together:
Build strong relationships with agents, publicists, talent, producers, presenters and internal teams, playing a key part in the success of Global Podcasts.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:
