Your new role:

As a Guest Operations Specialist, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of our base, providing exceptional guest experience to all guests and flight crews in line with our Signature Service Programme. This will include:

  • Carrying out ramp services
  • Offering assistance to crews and liaising with ground handling services
  • Carrying out quality checks
  • Bulk fuel vehicles with Jet A1 and deliver Jet A1/Avgas fuel to our guests aircraft
  • Liaising with guests, providing information relevant to their flight requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with all requirements and guidelines, and formalities set by authorities
  • Raising and processing invoices
  • Assisting guests and suppliers with invoicing queries
  • Proactively cross-checking invoices to ensure accurate billing
  • Ensuring refreshment supplies are maintained and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all of our VIP areas and facilities

About you:

The important bits:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, and airport background check requirements in order to receive and maintain an airport security badge
  • Must be insurable under the Company’s applicable insurance policies
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence
  • Excellent vision and coordination to safely move and/or direct aircraft and visually inspect aircraft fuel, including the ability to pass a colour vision test for the purposes of inspecting aviation fuel
  • IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally via telephone and email

In addition:

  • Ideally, proven experience within a related role – front-of-house or ramp side - either within Aviation Services or Hospitality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people, communicating clearly and professionally at all times
  • Adaptable and reliable, with good judgement and high standards of accuracy whilst supporting day-to-day operations
  • Comfortable working accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, operational environment, with the ability to stay calm, focused and organised when things get busy
  • IT-literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Additional language skills would be an advantage
