The hotel features 267 guestrooms and suites, alongside a collection of distinctive food and beverage experiences including a brasserie, café bar, wine lounge, gastropub and Japanese restaurant, creating a diverse and fast-paced environment for colleagues. Andaz also offers 14 unique meeting and event spaces, including the historic 1901 Ballroom and the Masonic Temple, both rich in character and heritage.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Guest Relations Host/ess role
- Greet guests and assist with requests throughout their stay, from arrival through to departure.
- Act as a key point of contact for guest enquiries, requests and service recovery needs.
- Review daily arrival reports and communicate VIP information to relevant teams.
- Support arrival and departure experiences by acting as Lobby Host/ess when required.
- Assist with the coordination of guest preferences and ensure regular and VIP guests are recognised appropriately.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless and personalised guest experiences.
- Ensure all guest requests, We Cares and follow-up actions are completed promptly and effectively.
- Assist with the training and development of colleagues, supporting a guest-focused culture across the team.
- Maintain presentation standards across the lobby and Front Desk areas, ensuring they are fully stocked and well maintained.
- Support departmental goals by promoting upselling opportunities, World of Hyatt enrolments and guest satisfaction initiatives.

About You
We are looking for a hospitality professional who is committed to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences. You will enjoy building positive relationships with guests and colleagues while bringing the Andaz brand to life through personalised service. Previous front-facing experience within a hotel environment would be beneficial.
You will be organised, attentive and approachable, with excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail. The ability to remain calm under pressure, manage guest requests effectively and work collaboratively across departments is essential.
