We are looking for a friendly, professional, organised, and customer-focused Guest Relations Officer with an interest in customer service, hospitality, communication, guest experience, and service management.

In this role, you will assist guests and customers with enquiries, provide relevant information, understand their individual requirements, and help ensure they receive a positive and professional service experience.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of guest-related services, including guest enquiries, customer support, hospitality services, accommodation-related information, service requests, guest experiences, local recommendations, special requests, feedback, and other customer-facing services.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy communicating with people, providing customer service, solving problems, helping customers, learning about hospitality and guest experiences, and working in a flexible remote environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist guests and customers with general enquiries and provide relevant information.
  • Understand guest preferences, requirements, questions, and service expectations.
  • Provide clear and professional responses to guest enquiries.
  • Assist guests in finding suitable solutions based on their individual requirements.
  • Provide information regarding accommodation, services, facilities, activities, experiences, and other relevant guest services.
  • Help guests understand available services and options.
  • Respond to customer questions through appropriate communication channels.
  • Assist with service-related enquiries, requests, amendments, and special requirements where applicable.
  • Follow up with guests regarding enquiries, requests, and previously provided information.
  • Maintain accurate and organised guest and customer-related records.
  • Review relevant service information to ensure information provided to guests is accurate and up to date.
  • Communicate with appropriate team members or service providers when additional information or clarification is required.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and provide appropriate assistance.
  • Identify guest concerns and assist in finding suitable solutions.
  • Escalate complex or urgent matters to the appropriate department or team member.
  • Maintain professional communication throughout the guest interaction.
  • Complete assigned daily tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.

Your work may include helping to:

  • Understand the individual needs and expectations of different guests.
  • Provide useful and relevant information based on guest requirements.

  • Provide alternative solutions when the original request is unavailable or unsuitable.
  • Assist with special requests where applicable.
