Guest Services & Events Manager
Glasgow | £40,000 | Monday–Friday, 40 hours | Permanent, Full-time

Rapport is looking for a Guest Services & Events Manager to lead a fantastic front-of-house and events operation within a prestigious corporate environment in Glasgow.
Managing a team of four, you’ll oversee the day-to-day guest experience while taking the lead on events from planning through to delivery. You’ll work closely with reception, catering, facilities and key stakeholders to make sure everything runs seamlessly — and always look for opportunities to go that extra mile.
Employment will be subject to a successful vetting outcome which includes a requirement of proof of a UK address for the last 6 years.

Main Responsibilities
- Lead, support and develop a team of four.
- Oversee the guest services and front-of-house operation.
- Plan and deliver events from brief through to completion.
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Take ownership of challenges and find practical solutions.
- Maintain high service standards, even when priorities change.
- Look for ways to enhance the guest experience and create memorable wow moments.
- Be a hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to get involved and support the team.
The ideal candidate will

- You’ll have previous experience in guest services, front of house, hospitality or events, ideally within a busy corporate environment.
- Has proven experience managing and developing a team.
- Is confident coordinating and delivering events.
- Understands what outstanding guest service looks and feels like.
- Is naturally hands-on and isn't afraid to get involved in the detail.
- Builds strong, positive relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Can stay calm, organised and solutions-focused when priorities change.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Takes ownership and sees things through to resolution.
- Is passionate about creating experiences that go beyond expectations.
