Location: Officers Mess, Imphal Barracks, York YO10 4HD Pay: £12.71/hour (£6,631.82 annual salary) Hours: Permanent, part-time, 10 hours/week, Saturday and Sunday Shift times: 0830 - 1330

We’re looking for a Guest Service Assistant to join our team at Imphal Barracks and help create a welcoming space for our customers. Serving the Officers meals, clearing tables, keeping the mess clean and tidy. What you’ll do:

  • Serving Officers in the mess, clearing away, washing up, light cleaning duties.
  • Cleaning both back and front-of-house, ensuring the unit is clean and tidy before, during, and after service.
  • General front of house duties such as operating the till and cash handling, keeping financial records, providing excellent customer service, and serving customers.
  • Making hot and cold drinks and serving food on the food counters, ensuring you are always adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.

What we are looking for:

  • Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Over 18 as some bar work.
  • Previous experience desirable but full training given.
