Guest Service Host Opportunity at Art’otel Hoxton
We are recruiting for a Guest Service Host for one of the coolest new hotels in Hoxton! Long revered as London’s effortlessly cool cultural core, Hoxton’s hip new resident is about to hit the scene. The 26-floor Art’otel Hoxton promises a dazzling skyline view, ample gallery space, plus two Banksy originals preserved and on public display. With 357 guest rooms and suites, a lounge, a gym, and two destination restaurants.
As our Guest Service Host, you are the first and last person our guests call. Your helpful, can-do approach and passion for great service will create an amazing impression each time.
As Our Guest Service Host, You Will Receive
- Salary: £13.15 per hour plus incentive (10% of room upgrade, £1 per breakfast voucher and £1 per Spa Voucher)

As a Master Of Your Craft, You Will
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to connect with others
- Manage requests promptly, helpfully, politely, and with a caring attitude
- Possess an excellent command of English and have impeccable communication skills
- Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
- Gather, summarize, and utilize information about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities.
- Attend and actively participate in all required training sessions including shift briefings.
- Work as a strong and committed team member and colleague, as well as proactively nurture all relationships.
- Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
- You will be responsible for answering external and internal calls to the standard laid down and to connect to the relevant parties during the day. This will include accurately maintaining departmental systems, procedures, and logbooks, responding to emergency procedures
- Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Guest Experience, Reception, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem.
- With previous experience as a Telephone Operator or Receptionist preferable
