Are you warm, professional, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same? We are looking for a friendly and capable Guest Services Assistant to join our team on a Fixed Term basis at The Horder Centre, Crowborough.
About the Role
As a Guest Services Assistant, you will play a dual role, combining ward clerk/reception duties with clinical administration support to ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. This is a varied and dynamic role, requiring excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently multitask in a healthcare environment.
- Be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and contractors - whether greeting in person or handling telephone queries
- Support clinical teams with high-quality administrative support behind the scenes

- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
- Skilled in handling telephone and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and empathy
- Proficient in using IT systems and confident learning new technologies
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage a variety of tasks with attention to detail

Job Details
Location: The Horder Centre, Crowborough
Contract Type: Fixed Term, Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 7.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch break
Salary Range: Between £24,921 - £25,857.00 per annum
Right to work in the UK
In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencing employment. We have assessed this role, and it does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. As such, we will not be accepting any visa sponsorships for this role, and candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK independently, without sponsorship from Horder Healthcare.
