Wolverhampton Racecourse and Holiday Inn Hotel

We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hands-on Guest Services Food & Beverage to join our team at the Holiday Inn, Wolverhampton Racecourse. From welcoming hotel guests and racegoers to supporting major events, you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences while helping lead our Food & Beverage team.

What you'll be doing

As an integral member of our hotel operations team, you'll support the Hotel Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of our Food & Beverage operation, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from arrival through to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and motivating the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional service every day.
  • Assisting with team rotas, staffing, training and ongoing development.
  • Helping drive sales through upselling and creating memorable dining and bar experiences.
  • Managing stock ordering, cellar operations and bar audits.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and brand compliance.
  • Supporting reception during busy check-in and check-out periods when required.
  • Acting as Duty Manager on occasion, including hotel, racecourse and event days.
  • Ensuring our guests always receive a warm welcome and personal service.

About You

  • Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed.
  • Experience with rota planning and stock control is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event days.
