Senior Insurance Business Analyst – Core Platform Transformations (Guidewire / Duck Creek / Keylane)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Business Analyst / Core Systems SME to drive complex transformation projects across Property & Casualty (P&C) lines.
In this role, you will act as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders, underwriting teams, and technical delivery squads. You will lead requirement-gathering workshops, perform gap analyses, and help configure modern core insurance engines—specifically Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), Duck Creek, or Keylane Axon.
Remit
Core Platform Delivery
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for core insurance replacements, migrations, and upgrades across Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.

Requirements & Gap Analysis
- Facilitate discovery sessions with underwriters, claims managers, and business leads to capture target-state requirements and map OOTB (out-of-the-box) capabilities.
Agile Product Ownership
- Author precise user stories, define clear acceptance criteria, manage feature backlogs, and collaborate closely with engineering squads in a SAFe/Agile environment.
Integrations & APIs
- Document functional requirements for 3rd-party integrations and APIs (e.g., rating engines, payment gateways, credit check services).
QA & UAT Alignment
- Partner with testing teams to shape test strategies, define edge-case scenarios, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through to successful deployment.

What We’re Looking For
Domain Expertise
- Strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance operations, FNOL/claims workflows, rating logic, and billing structures.
Core Systems Experience
- Hands-on experience working on at least one major platform implementation: Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), Duck Creek, or Keylane Axon.
Agile Credentials
- Proven track record in Agile frameworks (SAFe POPM certification or equivalent experience preferred).
Technical Interface Skills
- Solid grasp of API integration flows (REST/SOAP) and interface mapping.
Testing Background
- ISTQB certification or a strong QA background is a major plus.
