Guidewire Claims Business Architect

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Claims Business Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering a major Guidewire Claims transformation programme.

This is a senior, client-facing position requiring someone who combines deep Guidewire Claims expertise with strong Business Architecture capabilities. You will work closely with senior business, technology and programme stakeholders to define the target operating model, shape the solution and provide direction throughout the implementation.

The successful candidate will have experience working within the UK insurance market and ideally have delivered both greenfield Guidewire implementations and ClaimsCenter / Guidewire Cloud upgrade programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape the Business Architecture for a Guidewire Claims transformation programme.
  • Define the future-state claims operating model, business capabilities, processes and customer journeys.
  • Translate business strategy and requirements into an effective Guidewire Claims solution.
  • Shape the approach for a greenfield Guidewire implementation, including business processes, operating model and implementation roadmap.
  • Provide architectural leadership across Guidewire ClaimsCenter and Guidewire Cloud transformation / upgrade programmes.
  • Work closely with Guidewire Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts and delivery teams.
  • Challenge existing business processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and optimise claims operations.
  • Facilitate workshops with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Support programme leadership with solution decisions, roadmap development and transformation planning.
  • Build strong relationships across the client organisation and develop an effective stakeholder network.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders throughout the programme.
  • Help ensure that business requirements, architecture and Guidewire capabilities remain aligned throughout delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
