Role Purpose
To play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall standards of the gym are outstanding, creating a welcoming environment and delivering an excellent member experience every visit.
About the Team
The Gym Operations team are responsible for managing and overseeing the day to day operations of our gyms. This team ensures that the gym runs efficiently and effectively, providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that delivers an outstanding member experience.
The Role
- Regularly clean and sanitise gym equipment, facilities, common areas, studios, changing rooms and high-touch surfaces to ensure gym standards are maintained to the highest level.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the gym by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and carrying out general housekeeping tasks as required.
- Clean and sanitise all sanitary facilities, including toilets, washrooms, showers, changing areas and team welfare spaces.
- Dust, wipe down and maintain surfaces throughout the club to create a clean, tidy and welcoming environment for members and visitors.
- Remove litter from internal and external areas and ensure all member-facing spaces remain presentable and free from hazards.
- Conduct gym standards checks, ensuring results are accurately recorded and maintained in line with PureGym record-keeping procedures.
- Restock cleaning stations, washroom consumables, vending machines and other gym supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Follow all cleaning, health and safety, COSHH and operational procedures to ensure a safe environment for members, visitors and colleagues.
- Support members by responding effectively and efficiently to feedback relating to gym cleanliness, facilities and overall club standards, delivering outstanding customer service.
- Maintain excellent brand standards at all times, ensuring the club remains safe, compliant and welcoming.
- Carry out regular gym resets, ensuring that the gym floor is kept tidy, safe, and ready for member use.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, professionally and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
