About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and commercially minded Gym & Duty Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our fitness facilities and support the continued growth of our health and fitness offering.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in the leisure, fitness, or sport sector who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and creating safe, welcoming, and engaging environments.
As Gym & Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of SportBU's gym, studios, and wider fitness provision. Working on a shift rota that includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe, compliant, customer-focused, and commercially successful.
You will act as Duty Manager during designated shifts, taking responsibility for the smooth running of facilities, staff supervision, and service delivery while supporting the implementation of SportBU's strategic objectives.
The role offers a varied and rewarding mix of operational management, team leadership, customer engagement, fitness programming, and commercial development.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System.
