- Tuesday 16:00 – 20:00 (4 hours)
- Thursday 16:00 – 20:00 (4 hours)
Hourly Rate £13.0541
Role Overview We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, has strong interpersonal skills, and the desire to make a positive contribution to our service and the wider community. As part of the Leisure Facilities Team at North Warwickshire Borough Council, you will be crucial to the supervision and day-to-day operation of this busy leisure facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, instructing, and evaluating safe and appropriate exercises to an individual or group
- Providing adaptations and alternatives throughout sessions to allow for different fitness levels
- Monitoring gym members, correcting and praising technique where appropriate
- Motivating gym members using appropriate techniques to promote retention and adherence to exercise
- Overseeing cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Being approachable to members and functioning as a positive role model
- Demonstrating a cheerful outlook to ensure that gym members feel welcome

Qualifications
- A Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification is desired
- A Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification is essential
Additional Information This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. An Enhanced Disclosure will be required.
