Delivering these services relies on an enthusiastic, customer-focused team, and they're now looking for a Leisure Centre Gymnastic Coach to join their team and help make a positive difference every day.
As a Leisure Centre Gymnastic Coach, you'll inspire and support gymnasts of different ages and abilities, delivering engaging coaching sessions in a safe and inclusive environment. You'll help participants develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment while ensuring sessions meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Your work has purpose. By encouraging participation in sport and physical activity, you'll help create healthier, happier communities, support personal development, and provide opportunities for individuals to achieve their goals. Every session you deliver will contribute to a positive impact on the lives of those who use our facilities.
What you’ll do as a Leisure Centre Gymnastic Coach
- Deliver safe, engaging and inclusive gymnastics coaching sessions for participants of varying ages and abilities.
- Plan and lead activities that support skill development, progression and enjoyment.
- Create a positive and welcoming environment that encourages participation and builds confidence.
- Monitor health and safety standards during all sessions and ensure safeguarding requirements are followed.
- Build positive relationships with participants, parents and colleagues, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Support the wider leisure centre team to help deliver an outstanding experience for all customers.

Does this sound like you?
- Experience coaching gymnastics or delivering structured sports activities.
- Qualified British Gymnastic Level 2 or British Gymnastic Activity Instructor.
- A passion for helping people develop new skills and achieve their goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused approach and ability to create an inclusive environment.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements within a sporting environment.
- Flexible and reliable, with availability to work a range of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Vetting and checks
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and relevant information held by local police in accordance with safeguarding requirements. You will also be required to complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
