Salary/Grade: Grade 7 - £29,542 to 32,046 pa (£15.31 to £16.61 hourly rate)

Hours/Days: 8.50 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Clay Cross Active, Market Street. Clay Cross, Chesterfield

North East Derbyshire District Council is a dynamic and ambitious organisation that takes pride in delivering excellent services to our community whilst driving economic growth and environmental sustainability for the district.

Located in Clay Cross, our leisure centre offers a range of facilities including sports halls, swimming pools, health and fitness suites and Gyms

The successful candidate will need to have practical experience in coaching gymnastics, including modern gymnastics techniques. They must also have a strong understanding of safety and safeguarding in a leisure environment.

The working hours may include evenings & weekends

To be successful you will need:

  • British Gymnastics General Gymnastics Coach Level 2 or Equivalent

OR

  • British Gymnastics Leading Gymnastics Sessions

  • The ability to deal with a full age range of customers.

  • To be physically fit & capable of heavy lifting.

  • Experience of working in a team and acting on own initiative.
