Gynaecological Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist Opportunity
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Gynaecological Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Gynaecology Oncology team within the Women's Health Division.
This is a rewarding role for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care and making a meaningful difference to the lives of women affected by gynaecological cancer. Working within a supportive and highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to develop specialist expertise, influence patient experience, and contribute to the ongoing development of a dynamic oncology service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist nursing support to women undergoing investigation and treatment for gynaecological cancers.
- Act as a key worker and point of contact throughout their cancer pathway.
- Undertake holistic assessments, identify and respond to complex physical, psychological, and supportive care needs.
- Support care coordination, patient education, symptom management, and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, allied health professionals, and wider support services to facilitate seamless, safe, and effective care.
- Use advanced communication and clinical skills to advocate for patients, support informed choice, and contribute to improved patient outcomes and experience.
