We are looking for a Pathway Specialist to join our UK & Ireland Gynaecology Surgical Solutions & Sonata team, covering the Central region of the UK, with a primary focus from the Midlands through to North London. This strategic, field-based role is focused on engaging senior NHS and private healthcare leaders to shape women’s health pathways, support service transformation and drive adoption of Hologic’s GSSS solutions. Working closely with Surgical Sales Specialists and cross-functional teams, you will build senior-level partnerships, present compelling clinical and commercial value propositions, and help make the case for improved access to minimally invasive treatment options for women.
What To Expect
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior healthcare leaders across NHS Trusts, ICBs, PCNs, commissioning bodies and private healthcare organisations.
- Present compelling clinical, commercial and health economic value propositions that align Hologic’s GSSS offering to customer priorities.
- Partner closely with Surgical Sales Specialists to create senior-level engagement, understanding and buy-in for Hologic’s surgical solutions.
- Identify pathway and service delivery gaps, supporting opportunities to improve patient access, referral routes and treatment efficiency.
- Lead senior-level commercial discussions from early engagement through to contract negotiation, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Develop a strong network of healthcare decision makers and KOLs across the region.
- Identify and shape opportunities for growth, including upsell, cross-sell, contract extension and site-of-service expansion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing and Education teams to design strong customer solutions.
- Maintain accurate customer and account insight through CRM and site profiling tools.
- Travel regularly across the region, with expected travel averaging 70–80% of working time, including overnight stays.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
