To support the Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Haematology team to deliver excellent, personalised care to Haematology patients whilst developing your own skills and knowledge within the speciality.
- To support patients in clinics alongside consultants - offering holistic care and support where necessary.
- To follow up with patients post clinic to ensure continuity of support.
- Managing the telephone enquiries of patients and their carers; prioritising, assessing and escalating as appropriate.
- To support the Clinical Nurse Specialist in the preparation of the nurse led clinics liaising with primary care providers to ensure all relevant medical details are available for the clinics.
