Hair Stylist | Great Notley, Braintree | Full Time / Part Time | £13-£15 per hour DOE

Are you an experienced Hair Stylist looking for a salon where you can focus on doing what you love, without having to bring your own clientele?

Our client is an established unisex hair and beauty salon in Great Notley, Braintree, providing professional and friendly hair and beauty services. Established since 2001, the salon is committed to delivering high-quality services and creating a welcoming experience for its clients.

The Role

We are looking for a confident and competent Hair Stylist who can bring their creativity and passion to the salon. You will be joining a team that works together to keep the salon running smoothly and create a fun and positive environment.

There is no need to bring your own clientele, as the salon already has clients waiting for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out professional hairdressing services to a high standard
  • Completing restyles, ladies' and gents' cuts and blow-dries
  • Providing colouring and highlighting services
  • Carrying out perms and hair-up styling
  • Consulting with clients to understand their requirements
  • Creating high-quality styles while delivering excellent customer service
  • Working as part of the team and helping wherever needed to keep the salon running smoothly
  • Creating a fun, welcoming and positive environment for clients and colleagues

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Hair Stylist
  • Competent and confident in all aspects of hairdressing
  • Experience with restyles, ladies' and gents' cuts and blow-dries
  • Experience with colouring and highlights
  • Experience with perms and hair-up styling
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about hairdressing
  • Strong team player
  • Full UK driving licence
