Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice to join our busy and professional salon team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while working towards your formal hairdressing qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Salon Support:
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with coats, refreshments, and seating clients comfortably
- Maintain a welcoming salon atmosphere at all times
Technical Support (under supervision):
- Shampooing, conditioning, and applying treatments
- Preparing clients for cutting, colouring, and styling services
- Mixing colour formulas accurately following instructions
- Assisting stylists during blow-drying and finishing services
- Learning correct sectioning, product application, and tool handling techniques
Salon Maintenance & Standards:
- Ensure all workstations remain clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout the day
- Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and organising towels and gowns
- Restock retail displays and backbar products
- Follow strict health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times

Essential qualifications:
- GCSE in:
- English (grade 9-4)
- Maths (grade 9-4)
