Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time Hairstylist role based at the Kennedy and co salon in Glasgow. The Hairstylist will consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable cuts, color services, and styling options. Daily tasks include performing haircuts, coloring, blow-drying, styling for everyday wear and special occasions, and advising on appropriate hair care and maintenance routines. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized workstation, following health and safety standards, and using professional products and tools correctly. The Hairstylist will also manage appointment times, deliver attentive customer service, and work collaboratively with the salon team to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques.
- Formal training or certification in hairdressing, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on creating a positive, welcoming experience for every client.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration.
- Experience in a salon environment, with knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work full time on-site, manage a busy schedule, and adapt to varying client needs.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new techniques.
