Role Description
The HAKI Training Technician is a full-time, hybrid role based in the West Midlands, with a mix of on-site work and some work from home. In this position, you will deliver practical and classroom-based training on HAKI scaffolding systems and temporary access solutions to customers, partners, and internal teams. You will prepare training materials, demonstrations, and assessments, ensuring that participants understand safe assembly, use, and dismantling of HAKI systems in line with company standards and relevant regulations. Day-to-day activities include planning and scheduling training sessions, maintaining training equipment, documenting attendance and competency results, and providing feedback to improve training content. You will also collaborate with technical, sales, and safety teams to align training with product updates, customer requirements, and best practices in working at height.

Qualifications

- Practical experience with scaffolding systems or temporary access solutions, including safe assembly, inspection, and work at height practices.
- Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver clear, engaging instruction to groups of learners in both practical and classroom environments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information in an accessible way and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational and planning abilities to schedule sessions, manage training resources, and maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to scaffolding and construction, with a commitment to promoting safe working conditions.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., presentation software, learning materials, video calls) to support hybrid training delivery and remote collaboration.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., scaffolding, work at height, health and safety) and prior experience in teaching, coaching, or technical support are beneficial.
- Ability to travel within the West Midlands and occasionally to client or site locations, and to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
