Location: Our brand-new site, just off Belfast Road, Bangor

Start Date: 1st September 2026 (immediate availability required)

Contract: September, October & November. You must be available for the entire period.

Hours: Monday to Saturday, generally 10am-6pm (may vary), with one weekday off in lieu

Pay: National Minimum Wage, according to age


We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and IT-literate Temporary Retail Assistant to help us set up and run our brand-new Halloween shop in Bangor.

The Role

  • Setting up the shop and displays before opening
  • Serving and assisting customers
  • Operating the till and handling payments
  • Using computer and IT systems
  • Replenishing and merchandising stock
  • Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well presented
  • Unpacking and organising deliveries
  • Helping customers find costumes, decorations and accessories
  • Providing friendly and enthusiastic customer service
  • Assisting with the general running of the shop

About You

  • IT literate and confident using computers and basic software
  • Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
  • Able to work independently and use your initiative
  • Previous retail experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to drive with access to a car may be advantageous, as you may need to travel between our sites

Due to the seasonal nature of this role, you must be available to start on 1st September 2026 and commit to working throughout the whole of September, October and November.
